Technical notes

Almost all of the pictures here were taken with my Canon EOS 5 camera, using three Canon lenses:
EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM zoom,
EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM image stabilizer zoom, and
EF 28mm f/1.8 USM prime.

In a few pictures I used a cheap Lomex 0.38X semi-fisheye lens attachment I bought in Singapore, and a couple I took with my Ricoh GR-1 P&S. There's also one taken by Justin Mansley with his camera.

I did not carry a separate flashgun, and regretted it the few times I resorted to the camera's built-in flash.

I used mainly Fuji Sensia and Sensia II slide films, most ISO 100, some ISO 400. In addition I used one roll of Fuji Provia 1600 for some low light situations.

The pictures were digitized using HP PhotoSmart scanner without any post-processing except some cropping and resampling for desired size (with imagemagick).
